It is important for you as a caregiver to find balance between your

attitude about your caregiving responsibilities and the awareness

and expression of the myriad of emotions that come with the role. Talk to a close friend or reach out to other caregivers or a professional in whom you can confide. Trust your feelings as they arise. You will be experiencing very normal feelings. Know that you are not alone in your journey and that there are many others out there who are walking or have walked in your shoes. Do not underestimate the importance of your emotional and mental well- being each and every day.
